The Zephiros Group began its journey in 1997 with the establishment of Zephiros Ltd, laying a solid foundation for our enduring commitment to renewable energy. As pioneers in Greece's renewable energy sector, we managed some of the earliest operational projects and executed one of the first plant repowering initiatives. From the outset, our mission has been to transform natural resources into sustainable energy solutions with lasting impact.

OUR EVOLUTION
Always innovating and finding new solutions
Building upon the success of Zephiros Ltd, we recognized the growing need for comprehensive asset management services within the industry. This insight led to the formation of Wootis S.A., our affiliate company specializing in asset management, operation, and maintenance of wind and solar parks. Together, these entities form ZEPHIROS, delivering integrated services across the renewable energy spectrum.
Our Journey

1997-1998
Establishment of Zephiros Ltd, the group's first company and erection of the first private wind turbine in Greece, on the island of Karpathos.

2001
The first third-party development of a renewable energy project (wind-park).

2006
Request for a production license for the first offshore wind park in Greece, with a capacity of 300 MW.

2007
The company developed the first 5 solar parks in Greece, with a capacity of 1MW each.

2014
Establishment of Wootis SA, a service company that provides asset management services to third-party wind and solar park owners.

2020
Establishment of Joule SA, a software company, to provide software solutions to clients and develop our own Virtual Power Plant for the provision of RES Aggregator and asset management services and opening of 3 new service units in Thrace and in Athens.

2023
Successfully permitting the first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Greece.

2024
Establisment of ZEPHIROS and new service unit in Larisa.
